With honesty, a smile, and years of experience, we’ve been looking after our clients’ needs for nearly 20 years now with the same passion. Our founder, Jayen Patel is a Chartered Certified Accountant also brings over 15 years of business industry experience. He has led AssureTax to new heights, providing a personalised and non-traditional approach to modern accounting, whilst spearheading a team of professional accountants. Joining AssureTax is as easy as giving us a call, and we’d be delighted to be part of your business’s ongoing development. We’ll then discuss and agree what accountancy services you require, providing a fixed fee quotation and agreed monthly payment plan for your review and approval. We’ll follow up with a personalised engagement letter and make sure you’re happy before you sign it. Then we get to work, it’s as simple as that and we can even contact your previous accountant on your behalf.

We understand the various reasons why you’d want to change accountants, whether you’re not feeling your needs are being met, you’ve outgrown your current provider, or you’re just not getting the information you need on time. Frequently asked questions
How easy is it to change accountants and why should I change?
If your existing accountant is offering you an excellent, proactive service at a fair fee, stick with them. However, different accountants will save you different amounts of tax and provide different levels of business advice. If your current accountant doesn’t offer the type of service you want and that we offer, then changing over is very easy. It involves just one letter from you, then we take care of everything else. Your existing accountant is not usually allowed to charge you for providing the normal handover information.
You seem to offer a lot. Are your fees expensive?
No! We offer fixed fees linked to the value of the services we provide. We’re not always the cheapest – and as with many things in life, the lowest-cost option is often the most expensive in the long run – but we are not expensive and we offer excellent value for what we provide. Most importantly, we never undertake work without agreeing on the fee arrangements in advance so you always know where you stand.
I’ve just had my accounts done and don’t need an accountant until next year, so is there any need to contact you now?
We can’t over-emphasise the importance of tax planning at an early stage, rather than relying on crisis-driven advice. Ideally, you should be doing your tax planning before the year even starts – but after that, the earlier the better. The same is applicable to all areas of advice. Our approach is all about helping you change the future, not just reporting what has already happened.
